Scam email being sent to patients living in Sussex

We have been made aware of a scam email being circulated in Sussex, asking patients to update their details in order to stay registered with their GP Practice.

This is a generic scam email which is asking patients to install a software by clicking on a button that says ‘I don’t want to change my GP’ and then asking them for their contact details. Please do not follow the link on the email.

Sometimes your GP practice may ask you to confirm your contact details, however we would do that by contacting you directly.
